ONYX UPDATES: We are targeting Tuesday, May 16th to make changes to the menu/navigation in ONYX. This will not affect permissions. Below are some of the changes you will experience after the cutover.

Design Elements: Fonts/Colors/Icons will be slightly different than they are now. This will be an ongoing improvement as we get feedback from end users. For example, some teams expect to work in ONYX most of the day, this requires consideration to colors/contrast, similar to what was available in Envoy.

Menu Navigation: In order to better utilize space in ONYX screens, we have changed the navigation links that normally appear on top. They are now condensed in a “Hamburger” menu drop down on the right that will pop out when needed and hide when not in use. The order of items will also be updated with more relevant functional/department groupings.

Menu Names: Some users have been using ONYX for a while. Some of the menu item names will be updated. A few examples: -- Envoy Connect will be changed to Connect --Job Site Detail Search will be changed to Jobsite

ONYX Mobile: In order to provide better access to Field Operations management, some of the key web pages in ONYX are now mobile optimized. This means a few screens are optimized to view/access on both mobile phone devices and tablets used in the field. We are working on adding a notification for mobile viewers to better distinguish which pages are accessible in the field, and which pages will work best on a pc
